A gust of wind wafts the stench of blood and death over the valley of warring soldiers. The constant sound of clanging swords rise above the hum of impassioned battle cries. Both sides are tiring, but neither will give up. This is bloody war, which means to the death.
One of the two must die.
“Beloved, I implore you as aliens and strangers [in this world] to abstain from the sensual urges (the evil desires, passions of the flesh) that wage war against the soul.” (1Peter 2:11 AMP)
